At the beginning of the war, the First Republic villa in the center of Opava, which until recently served as offices, was empty. After 14 days of brutal Russian aggression, it was obvious that the number of refugees would increase. The family council sat down, my friends and I formed a team, and within a week we managed, with the help of the city, friends, and unknown people willing to arrange help 5 lfireplace, living rooms, kitchen and children's playroom. Community housing was created where each family has privacy in their bedroom and remaining rooms such as living room, kitchen and they share the social background with several families. We currently have four families staying here and two more are due to arrive shortly. We plan to furnish the remaining rooms to accommodate additional families. We also want to create a classroom for teaching Czech or other educational and free time activities.
