Developing consistent, repeatable, and efficient VHP cycles is one of the most critical and often one of the most challenging tasks in bio-decontamination processes. Achieving the right balance between hydrogen peroxide concentration, humidity behaviour, exposure time, and aeration dynamics requires a clear understanding of how these parameters interact in real operating conditions. In this webinar, we will explore an engineering‑driven approach to cycle development, focusing on how real‑time measurement data can uncover process behaviour, reveal optimisation opportunities, and reduce development time. We will discuss typical issues encountered during cycle design, such as unstable concentration profiles and bottlenecks during conditioning or aeration and show how detailed measurement trends can be used to diagnose these issues. Using practical examples from development and troubleshooting scenarios, we will illustrate how H₂O₂, relative saturation, and temperature data support:


  • Mapping the full cycle from injection to aeration

  • Verifying repeatability between runs

  • Understanding humidity‑H₂O₂ interactions

  • Making informed, data‑based adjustments to cycle parameters


 By the end of the session, participants will have a clearer picture of how continuous measurement insight can accelerate cycle development and improve process robustness. The session will also include a brief look at measurement technologies suitable for collecting this type of data, including in‑line multiparameter probes.
